Pinnacle Data Management (PDM) and CumulusPro make invoice processing affordable for SMEs
Lucerne, Switzerland, 29 March 2016 - Essex-based Pinnacle Data Management Ltd. (PDM) has handled millions of documents since its inception in 1994. To further strengthen its offering, PDM partners with CumulusPro to make invoice processing affordable for its SME customers.
With CumulusPro’s Invoice+, PDM’s customers can scan their invoices anywhere, at any time, through a web-scan interface or mobile capture app. The relevant information from the invoice is then extracted, in order to support or even automate the accounting process. CumulusPro’s Invoice+ is an innovative invoice processing solution comprising a suite of software components, including Scan+ProcessLite™, the Document Manager Awards 2015’s SME CMS Product of the Year.
For customers who prefer not to do the scanning themselves, PDM also performs bulk scanning services, followed by validation of the extracted information to prepare invoices for submission and approval.
By choosing CumulusPro’s Invoice+ solution, PDM allows its SME customers to dramatically reduce their invoice processing times and cost - as timely processing of invoices means SMEs can benefit from early payment discounts, and all in all, better cash planning. These customers also pay on a per-invoice basis, which means they can avoid having to make significant upfront investments and have complete control over their expenditure – a big plus point for SMEs.
Joe Froning, VP Sales at CumulusPro, sees the great opportunity in the SME market in the UK: “We’re happy to have won PDM as our first invoice partner in the UK. With their established customer base and long-time experience in paper processing, they are an ideal partner for us to address the SME market. Current technologies dictate that invoice processing solutions require a minimum of 50,000 invoices per year to be affordable. Yet with our Invoice+ solution, together with PDM’s services, customers do not need to make a large investment but can benefit from innovative invoice processing from just a few hundred invoices onwards. We believe that there is huge potential here.”
Allan Rees, owner of PDM, is delighted at being able to extend a greater suite of services to SMEs: “PDM started as an SME ourselves, so providing the best possible service at affordable prices for SMEs has always been our mission. Thanks to the CumulusPro technology, we are now able to extend these services further and help our customers focus even more on their core business.”
By combining PDM’s core competency of document scanning, archiving and restorage with CumulusPro’s cloud-based solutions of engagement, this partnership is another step in building CumulusPro’s rich ecosystem.
The emergence of ecosystems and virtual communities is one of the most exciting developments for software companies in the Web 2.0 space. For CumulusPro, this means building a rich ecosystem of technology vendors, service partners and user communities on its cloud-based collaboration platform – with the opportunity to design its offerings around the latest cloud technologies, and provide maximum value to customers.
Partners like PDM benefit from the ability to easily integrate, interact and interoperate with CumulusPro, with one another, and with their customers so as to take electronic document processing and customer engagement to greater new levels of efficiency.
Through its offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Lucerne (Switzerland) and Brisbane (Australia), CumulusPro creates accessible products to meet real needs.
CumulusPro’s cloud-based solutions of engagement and interaction are designed to revolutionise how organisations and public institutions communicate and collaborate with their partners, customers and citizens – with a simplified user experience that empowers end-users to input data and participate in business processes without the need for IT training.
Scan+ProcessLite™, named SME CMS Product of the Year at the Document Manager Awards 2015, is designed to be an integral function of any existing Line of Business (LOB) application, enabling businesses to capture data where it benefits them the most – directly from the source. Non-financial knowledge workers, internal stakeholders, external auditors, third-party vendors, and even customers can upload their invoices and invoice data to any LOB application, accurately and instantly, from any geographical location.
