CumulusPro launches Invoice+ Cloud Invoice Processing Platform
Luzern, Switzerland, 2 June 2016 - CumulusPro is delighted to launch Invoice+, a solution of CumulusPro Straatos BPM platform. Invoice+ is designed to streamline and automate invoice processes so as to eliminate routine tasks, speed up the overall invoice process, and ultimately, lower transaction costs by enabling companies to benefit from early payment discounts and avoid late payment penalties.
Invoice+ does this by providing initial invoice process flow templates where up to 90% of commonly-used routing and business rules are already set up. With CumulusPro BPMN 2.0 Process Designer, process-aware professionals can simply drag and drop components, add or modify routing rules with exclusive/parallel decision gateways within the invoice process flows, and reuse components for new processes - all without the need for coding knowledge.
Invoice+ offers all stakeholders a real-time view of the invoice process, with configurable alerts on specific actions that should be taken at the various stages. It can be easily integrated into existing cloud-based ERP solutions, while highly flexible and customisable integration enables bidirectional data exchange from any existing non-cloud-based ERP system as well.
Furthermore, Invoice+ supports multiple input channels for invoice capture and submission – such as embedded capture on a vendor’s invoice portal, virtual printer technology (Print+) to generate and send PDF invoices directly from vendors’ existing ERP systems, and web scan and capture that runs on any major web browser. This offers companies innovative new ways of engaging their vendors in an efficient invoice process.
Giulio Battistini, CEO and Founder of CumulusPro, believes the new cloud offering will provide greater options for CumulusPro customers. “The cloud platform is specifically designed to help companies avoid lengthy deployment cycles. Pre-built process templates, such as those provided by Invoice+ on Straatos platform, can seamlessly solve up to 90% of typical invoice processing issues - such as extended time and expanded cost. With Invoice+, all companies need is an Internet connection and a major web browser - and they can start using right away. There’s no need to replace their existing ERP system, no need to install new hardware or software, and no need to worry about license and maintenance fees.”
CumulusPro’s Software-as- a-Service payment model means companies only pay for what they use – making Invoice+ a low-risk and high-return solution.
For CumulusPro, the emergence of ecosystems and virtual communities is one of the most exciting developments for software companies in the Web 2.0 space. This means building a rich ecosystem of technology vendors, service partners and user communities on its cloud-based collaboration platform – with the opportunity to design its offerings around the latest cloud technologies, and provide maximum value to customers.
